Cel­e­brat­ing 10 Years

The Desert Knowl­edge Precinct is cel­e­brat­ing its tenth anniver­sary with a Twi­light Fes­ti­val that will include food stalls, music, Arrernte cul­tur­al activ­i­ties and fam­i­ly fun. It’ll also be an oppor­tu­ni­ty to learn all about the organ­i­sa­tions on the Precinct and the inno­v­a­tive work we do here.

The Desert Knowl­edge Precinct is home to Desert Knowl­edge Aus­tralia, The Desert People’s Cen­tre (Batch­e­lor Insti­tute of Indige­nous Ter­tiary Edu­ca­tion and the Cen­tre for Appro­pri­ate Tech­nol­o­gy) and sev­er­al oth­er organ­i­sa­tions who strive to make the desert a bet­ter place to work, learn and live. We’re excit­ed to share the Precinct with the Alice Springs community.
