The symposium encourages dissemination of research through publication and welcomes early-career researchers.

We invite early-career and established researchers, PhD students and local organisations to come together and exchange knowledge in support of learnings and progression for central Australia.

The Knowledge Intersections Symposium is set to return in late 2022 with its fifth edition: Channels for a thriving desert’. This year’s theme will cast a light on central Australian projects from the past, present and future, creating synergies to strengthen our region and pave the way forward.

The Symposium is co-hosted by the Desert Knowledge Research Institute, Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education, Charles Darwin University, and the Desert Peoples Centre.
